AdventureSmart -- Dave Norona SnowmobilingDuring the winter months Canada is a snowmobiling mecca. From fast-flowing trails to pristine off-piste backcountry, this endless fun comes with a huge responsibility. Out there you will encounter frozen lakes and deep backcountry powder far from the comforts of the city. Ensure that you are properly trained and equipped to survive a night outside or to help others in need.

Did you know that snowmobile licensing in British Columbia has been long talked about? Thanks to efforts of the BC Snowmobile Federation, we are closer than ever to making that happen.

Some riders oppose licensing, mostly due to anticipated registration fees and purchase tax on used machines.
